Karen has been the clarinet teacher at The Abbey School, Reading for 20 years.  During this time, she has built up the number of pupils learning the clarinet, whilst running some of the ensembles in the Senior and Junior School. She teaches saxophone as well as clarinet at the Junior School and she has some piano pupils at the Senior School.  She also teaches extensively at home, with most pupils being young pianists, but she is equally happy to welcome new clarinet pupils and adult pupils.  During the pandemic, she taught exclusively on-line, mostly using Zoom. Almost all lessons are now face-to-face, with the option for an occasional on-line lesson if requested.
